Recent rumors about an increase in Distemper cases and new strains of Distemper have been found to be untrue.  This rumor seems to be based on increased media coverage and not an increase in actual canine distemper diagnoses. Visit the American Veterinary Medical Association website for more details.  The best way to effectively prevent this potentially deadly infection is to make sure all pets are properly vaccinated.
